Two years in the making, this project was very poorly managed and executed by a previous team and management. After an 18 months delay in the project's delivery and a loss of $1.5 M of potential revenue, a new team was brought on board, with myself acting as a UI/UX Designer, UX Researcher, Scrum Master and Project Lead. We've completely re-build and re-designed an application, completed and launched the first release in just 3 months, followed up with subsequent iterations, advanced versions and UI/UX improvements based on user testing and feedback.
Previously sold as a CD-ROM evaluation software, Mining Intelligence (Sherpa) Surface Evaluation Application was given a new life as an online desktop application, complete with an intuitive user experience, powered by a revamped back-end data operations. Due to a huge amount of data input and output, I've had to come up with numerous solutions for not only collecting the data, but also presenting it to the user. I've conceptualized and designed a couple dozen pages with interactive forms, tables, graphs and charts with data visualization.
 MI Evaluation Flowcharts
The old application flows were hard to understand. I've designed new iconography for easy recognition and navigation, as well as re-designed all of the flowcharts. These are getting dynamically displayed within the Surface Evaluation Application.
